7 DAYS cake – an easy to make and delicious dessert. It takes no more than an hour to make a cake according to this recipe. Chocolate cakes, simple but very delicate cream, sour jam and delicate chocolate croissants are combined in an interesting and original dessert. Try it!

7 DAYS cake – ingredients

  • For bіskvіtu:
  • Eggs (large) – 4 pieces.
  • Sugar – ¾ cup.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Flour – ¾ cup.
  • Cocoa – 2,5 tsp.
  • Baking powder – ½ tsp.
  • Salt – a pinch.
  • For the cream:
  • Cream (from 30%) – 600 ml.
  • Powdered sugar – 4 tbsp.
  • Gelatin – 2,5 tsp. (with a slide).
  • Water – ¼ cup.
  • For the icing:
  • Dark chocolate – 100 g.
  • Oil – 50
  • Milk – 50 ml.
  • Additionally:
  • Mini croissants 7 DAYS.
  • Currant jam.

7 DAYS cake – recipe

Separate the egg whites from the yolks, beat them with a pinch of salt to a firm foam, add sugar and vanilla sugar one spoon at a time, beating well each time. Add yolks one by one, beat at the lowest speed of the mixer.

Mix flour with cocoa and baking powder, sift to egg mass. , gently knead with a spatula.

We cover the form (24×24) with parchment, pour the dough, level it. We bake the cake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until a “dry match”. Cool, cut into 2 identical thin cakes.

Cream

Dissolve gelatin in hot water, leave to cool.

Beat the well-chilled cream to a stable lush mass, add powdered sugar at the end of the beating. Add 2 tbsp to the cooled gelatin. whipped cream, mix well. Pour hardened gelatin into the cream, beat well.

We collect the cake

Lubricate the bottom sponge cake well with jam, spread 1/3 of the cream, spread the croissants, spread the rest of the cream, level it. Place the upper part of the biscuit on top, press it down slightly, and spread it with jam.

Put the cake in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours.

Glaze

Put milk, butter and chocolate in a saucepan, stir and heat until the ingredients are completely combined. Grease the top of the cake with glaze. Put in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes so that the glaze hardens completely.
