A cake made of waffle cakes

Buying waffle cakes today is not a problem. On sale there are cakes for every taste. Therefore, the main ingredient in this dessert is cream. In order for the cream to be the tastiest, all products must be at room temperature. A delicious and original dessert will taste great with tea or coffee.

Ingredients for making a waffle cake:

  • For the basis
  • Waffle cakes – 8 pcs.
  • For the cream
  • Butter – 200 g.
  • Raw condensed milk – 2-3 tbsp.
  • Boiled condensed milk – 570 g.
  • Cognac – 3-4 tbsp.
  • For sprinkling
  • Oatmeal cookies – 80 g.
  • Walnuts – 40 g.

Making a cake from waffle cakes:

We choose waffle cakes according to our taste: round, square, and according to color – plain or colored.

Next, prepare the cream: put the butter in the blender bowl, beat it. Gradually add boiled condensed milk. Beat at medium speed. Gradually introduce 2-3 tbsp. ordinary condensed milk and pour 3-4 tablespoons of cognac or liqueur. Beat the mass to a homogeneous consistency. The cream should be homogeneous, without lumps.

Assemble the cake: coat each cake well with cream and cover with the next cake. If the cakes are multi-colored, then it is better to alternate them. When the cake is assembled, grease the edges of the cake with cream.

We put a flat board on top of the cake made of waffle cakes and put a load so that the cakes are well fixed between each other.

We set the cake aside for 1 hour, in the meantime we prepare the crumb: for this we take cookies and nuts. Grind them using a “sharp knife” nozzle in a blender.

We remove the load and smear the top of the cake with cream. Sprinkle the sides and top with crumbs. We leave the cake for another 1 hour.
