Apple-caramel cake – ingredients

  • For the dough
  • Flour – 200 g.
  • Oil – 100
  • Egg – 1 pcs.
  • Powdered sugar – 5 tsp.
  • Vinegar – 1 tsp.
  • Salt.
    Toppings:
  • Apples – 750 g.
  • Sugar – 100 g.
  • Lemon – 1 pcs.
  • Apple juice – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Butter – 1 tbsp. l.

Apple-caramel cake – recipe

Mix all the ingredients for the dough and knead the dough. Put for 30 minutes in a cold place.

Peel the apples, cut out the middle and cut into thin slices. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

We heat the oven to 220°. We roll out the dough and put it in a form. We make air access in the dough with a fork (pierce the dough). Bake for 10 minutes.

We take the form out of the oven and put the apples on the dough. Put a few pieces of butter on top and bake for another 20 minutes.

Make caramel: melt sugar in a pan, add apple juice. Stir and cook over low heat until caramel forms.

Take the cake out of the oven and pour caramel over it. Bake for another 5-10 minutes. at a temperature of 250°.

Decorate with a sugar web (it is necessary to dilute 200 g of sugar with 5 tablespoons of water and cook over low heat until it becomes amber-colored and a viscous mass. Cool the syrup and “pull out” the sugar threads with a fork), serve.
