Apples in dough
Apples in dough – delicate treats for tea for breakfast or dinner. It tastes good to both children and adults. Apples in the dough turn out tender, soft, just melt in the mouth.
For apples in the dough sweet apples are best (but any other apples will work too).
Apples in dough – ingredients
- For the dough:
- Flour – 150 g.
- Milk – 125 ml.
- Eggs – 2 pieces.
- Vanilla sugar – 2 tsp.
- Baking powder – ½ tsp.
- Salt – a pinch.
- Additionally:
- Apples – 4 medium pieces.
- Cinnamon.
- Oil (butter) – for frying.
- Powdered sugar.
Apples in the dough – recipe
Sift flour into a bowl, add vanilla sugar, baking powder, salt, add eggs and milk, mix until smooth. The batter should be thick enough to stick to the apples. We postpone.
Wash the apples, peel them, cut them into thick slices about 1 cm thick. Cut out the hard middle. Sprinkle the slices with cinnamon.
Heat oil or butter. We dip the apples in the dough, remove them from the dough with a fork, let the excess dough drain, and put them on a heated pan.
Fry the apples in the batter over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
We spread the finished apples in the dough on a plate lined with a paper towel.
Serve warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
