Baked pumpkin with sesame

Baked pumpkin with sesame – a rather non-standard dish, but very tasty, nutritious and full of vitamins.

In general, everything we bake is nutritious and useful for our body. Baked dishes store more vitamins and trace elements.

Honey will give the dish an aroma and a sweet taste. Mustard will bring its bitterness, and orange juice will give the dish a delicate aroma and a magical taste. The dish can be decorated with greens to your taste.

Ingredients for Baked Pumpkin with Sesame

  • pumpkin – 500 g.
  • honey – 3 tbsp.
  • orange juice – 1/2 cup.
  • sesame seeds – 2 tbsp.
  • mustard – 1 tbsp.
  • oil – 3 tbsp.

Cooking baked pumpkin with sesame

We choose a ripe small pumpkin. Wash it well under running water. We clean the skin. Cut and remove the seeds. Cut the required amount of pumpkin into 3-4 cm squares. Put the pumpkin in boiling water and cook for 7-10 minutes. (the pumpkin should be soft on top, and the middle ones should be undercooked). Remove the pumpkin from the water and dry it. Next, heat a pan with oil and fry the pumpkin until golden brown.

After frying, put the pumpkin in a container and put it in the oven heated to 160 degrees for 10 minutes so that the excess oil drains off. We take out our pumpkin, drain the excess oil.

Combine sesame, orange juice and honey and mix until the mixture becomes homogeneous.

Pour the sauce over the baked pumpkin. The dish is ready!
