Beehive playground

“Beehive” playground – quite sweet honey cake. Balls with an interesting and tasty filling, delicate custard, sour jam, biscuit cookies. All the ingredients are well combined and merge into one delicious cake.

“Beehive” honey braid it smells like holidays. We highly recommend it for cooking.

Pliatsok “Vulik” – ingredients

  • For the cake:
  • Flour – 500 g.
  • Powdered sugar – 100 g.
  • Butter (margarine) – 150 g.
  • Honey – 100 g.
  • Egg – 1 piece.
  • Soda – 1 tsp
  • Jam with sour cream.
  • For balls:
  • Chopped nuts – ½ cup.
  • Almond flakes – ½ cup.
  • Raisins – ½ cup.
  • Coconut shavings – 1/3 cup.
  • Chocolate cracker – 50 g (coated).
  • Orange flavoring – a few drops.
  • Honey – ½ cup.
  • For the cream:
  • Milk – 2 glasses.
  • Sugar – ¾ cup.
  • Yolks – 2 pieces.
  • Vanilla sugar – 20 g.
  • Flour – 2 tbsp.
  • Corn starch – 2 tbsp.
  • Oil – 250
  • For the icing:
  • Oil – 120
  • Powdered sugar – ½ cup.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 tbsp.
  • Cocoa – 2 tablespoons (bitter).
  • Milk – 4 tbsp.
  • Gelatin – 1 teaspoon (with bitter).
  • Additionally:
  • Amaretto liqueur – 60-80 ml.
  • Biscuit round cookies – 28 pieces.

Plyatsok “Vulik” – cooking recipe


Mix flour with soda, sift. Add cold butter cut into small cubes, cut with a knife to obtain fine butter crumbs. Add egg and honey to the crumbs, knead the dough. The consistency of the dough should be like dumplings. If the dough is too hard, you can add a few spoons of sour cream.

Divide the dough into 2 equal parts.

Roll out one of them according to the dimensions of the form (25×35). We cover the form with parchment, lay out the rolled out dough, prick it with a fork, grease it with jam.


Pour all the ingredients for the filling into the pan, pour in the honey. Heat until the honey melts completely.

Roll out the rest of the dough. Cut out 28 rings, put 1 tbsp. fillings, form balls.

On the dough smeared with jam, we lay out balls with filling – 4 in width and 7 in length.

We bake the cake at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 50 minutes. Leave to cool.


Mix yolks with sugar, flour, starch and ½ cup of milk. Mix well so that there are no lumps.

We put the rest of the milk on the fire, bring it to a boil. Pour in the pre-prepared mixture, stirring and cook until empty.

Transfer the cream to a ceramic dish, cover with cling film so that it touches the entire surface of the cream. Leave to cool.

Soft butter (room temperature) is whipped to a light, fluffy mass. Add cooled boiled cream one spoon at a time.


Dissolve gelatin in 4 tbsp. hot water

Put all the ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce the heat, let it bubble for 1,5-2 minutes. Remove from heat, add gelatin, mix well. Leave for 5 minutes. Pour onto the plate.

Spread the cream on the cake with balls, level it. On top of each ball, put a biscuit soaked in alcohol.

Cover everything with glaze.
