Beet in Korean

Korean beets – ingredients

  • Beet (raw) – 500 g.
  • Vinegar – 2-3 tbsp. (focus on your taste).
  • Salt – ½ tsp.
  • Sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Oil – 100 g.
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves.
  • Ground black pepper – ½ tsp.
  • Ground red pepper – ½ tsp.
  • Ground coriander – 1 tsp.

Korean-style beetroot salad – preparation

To prepare beets in the Korean style, choose hard beets, otherwise it will be difficult to grate them. We clean the beets, wash them, dry them, grate them on a grater for Korean carrots.

Add vinegar, salt, and sugar to the beets, mix and let it stand. Drain the excess liquid. Then we add garlic (chopped), coriander, black and red pepper. Mix everything well.

We heat the oil, bring it almost to a boil, and pour it hot over the beets. Mix everything well.
