Very tasty vitamin beetroot salad for the winter. It is very suitable as a side dish for meat and poultry. Can be used as borscht dressing. In a word, a delicious universal salad for the winter. Salad keeps well at room temperature.

Wash and clean the vegetables. Grate the beets on a coarse grater. Grind the tomatoes in a meat grinder. Cut the pepper into strips. Finely chop the onion.

Put all the vegetables in a pan. We add garlic pressed on a garlic press, salt, sugar. We mix everything, put the pan on the fire, cook for 40 minutes (we start counting the time from the time we put the pan on the fire).

Add vinegar 10 minutes before the end of cooking.

Put the salad in sterile jars and cover with lids.

From the indicated amount of ingredients, 6 jars of 0,5 l and a little more are obtained.
