Buckwheat pie

Delicious buckwheat cake it tastes equally good both hot and cold. Such a cake is served to the table with sour cream, melted butter, kefir or milk.

Buckwheat pie – ingredients

  • Potatoes (medium) – 10 pieces.
  • Oil – 100
  • Lard – 2 tbsp. (with a slide).
  • Buckwheat – 1 cup.
  • Water – about 3 glasses.
  • Cheese (white, homemade) – 300 g.
  • Sour cream (thick) – 5 tbsp.
  • Eggs – 3 pieces.
  • Flour – 2 tbsp.
  • Salt pepper.

Buckwheat pie – recipe

Peel the potatoes, boil until soft.

Boil buckwheat until it absorbs all the water.

Mash the potatoes with butter and lard. Add buckwheat, cheese, sour cream, eggs and flour. Salt, pepper, mix well.

Line a baking dish (25×26) with parchment. Spread the “dough”, level it.

Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 70-80 minutes.

The cake can be served hot. Or leave to cool, it cuts very well when cold.
