Cake “Mix” with dried fruits and sour cream – a wonderful and delicate dessert that will decorate any holiday. This cake will be loved by both children and adults.

Cake “Mix” – very tasty and easy to prepare. Bake with pleasure!

Cake “Mix” – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Flour – 2 cups.
  • Sugar – 2 cups.
  • Kefir – 2 cups.
  • Honey – 2 tbsp.
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Baking powder – 1 bag.
  • For the cream:
  • Sour cream – 1,5 l.
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup.
  • Prunes, dried apricots, raisins – 100-150 g each.
  • Roasted almonds – 150 g.
  • Chocolate – 1/2 bar.

The cooking process “Mix” cake let’s start with kneading the dough. We combine everything together: flour, sugar, kefir, eggs, honey (if thick – melt) and add baking powder. Beat the ingredients with a mixer. Divide the finished dough into two parts, pour into molds and bake in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees until done. Check readiness with a toothpick. Ready cakes to cool and cut lengthwise into 2 parts, that is, you will get 4 cakes.

Now we prepare the filling. Twist prunes, dried apricots and raisins through a meat grinder.

For cream on “Mix” cake mix sour cream with sugar. Beat well and let it stand so that the sugar melts and mix again.

For decoration “Mix” cake you need to finely chop the almonds and grate the chocolate on a fine grater. Mix the chocolate with 1/4 of the chopped almonds. Leave the rest of the nuts for the filling.

Now we form “Mix” cake. Importantly! The cream should be applied to the cooled cakes. The first layer of the cake is cake, cream and nuts on top. We put the second cake, and on top the mass of dried fruits, which we pour cream on and sprinkle nuts on top. Now the third cake is cream and nuts. And the last, fourth, upper layer – the remains of the cream, which is generously sprinkled with nuts and chocolate on top.

Finished “Mix” cake leave it to soak well and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
