Cake Vinochok

Cake Vinochok – simple ingredients, simple preparation, simple cake. Such a cake is prepared from products that are always at hand. Despite its simplicity, it turns out to be very tasty, with a lemon flavor and an interesting sprinkle – caramelized oatmeal with the aroma of almonds.

Try this simple, but also quite elegant pastry.

Vinochok cake – ingredients

  • For bіskvіtu:
  • Eggs – 4 pieces.
  • Salt – a pinch.
  • Sugar – ½ cup.
  • Flour – ½ cup.
  • Starch – ½ cup.
  • Zest – from 1 lemon.
  • For the cream:
  • Milk – 2 glasses.
  • Sugar – ¼ cup.
  • Manka – 4 tbsp.
  • Oil – 200
  • Juice – from 1 lemon.
  • Additionally:
  • Oat flakes – 10 tbsp.
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp.
  • Oil – 1 tablespoons
  • Almond flavoring – 2-3 drops.

Sponge cake

Separate the whites from the yolks, beat with a little foam until a stiff foam. Add sugar one spoon at a time, beat well after each portion of sugar. Add yolks one by one, beat at the lowest speed of the mixer.

We mix flour with starch, sift to a loose egg mass, add lemon zest, gently mix with a wooden spoon.

Grease a cake mold (d=24 cm) with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs, pour the dough, level it. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Leave to cool.

Cream

Add sugar to milk and bring to a boil, add semolina, and cook until thickened, stirring. We are cooling.

Beat the butter to a light fluffy mass, add semolina one spoon at a time. At the end, add lemon juice, beat again.

Dusting

Melt the butter in a pan, add sugar, oatmeal and flavoring, mix and fry (stirring occasionally) until golden. Leave to cool.

We make a cake

Remove the biscuit from the mold and cut it into 3 cakes. Divide the cream into 3 equal parts. Grease the cakes with cream and coat the entire cake – top, sides, middle. Sprinkle the cake with fried flakes, pressing them lightly.

Put the finished cake in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours. 30-40 minutes before serving, remove the cake from the refrigerator.
