***WARNING! All dough products must be cold.
Mix flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder. Add solid butter cut into cubes, cut with a knife until the butter crumbles.
Add egg and yogurt to the crumbs, quickly knead the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Peel the apples, cut them in half, remove the core.
Divide the dough into 2 parts (one slightly larger than the other).
We roll out the smaller part according to the size of the form (25×35).
Cover the form with parchment, transfer the rolled out dough.
Place the apple halves, cut side down, on the dough. Lightly sprinkle the apples with sugar and cinnamon.
Roll out a larger piece of dough into a rectangle slightly larger than the shape. We spread the rolled out dough on the apples, press the edges (glue together). Prick with a fork.
Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes until the top crust is golden.
Sprinkle the cooled charlotte with powdered sugar.
