“Cheese Napoleon” – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Sour milk cheese – 400 g.
  • Eggs – 2 pieces.
  • Sugar – 1/3 cup.
  • Oil – 100
  • Flour – 3 cups.
  • Baking powder for dough – 1,5 tbsp.
  • Vanilla sugar – 20 g.
  • For the cream:
  • Milk – 1 l.
  • Eggs – 4 pieces.
  • Sugar – 1/3 cup.
  • Oil – 150
  • Flour – 6 tbsp.
  • Vanilla sugar – 20 g.

Grind cheese, eggs, sugar and soft butter with a blender. Gradually mix the flour with the baking powder. You may need a little more or less flour – it depends on the moisture of the cheese and the size of the eggs.

The dough should be elastic and tight. Wrap the dough in a film and put it in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.

Then divide the dough into 16 parts. Roll out each part into a very thin cake with a diameter of 23 cm. It is best to roll out the cake on parchment paper and immediately put it in the form. Prick the cake with a fork and put it in the oven, heated to 180 degrees, for 3-5 minutes. until blushing.

Cream for cake “Cheese Napoleon”

Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar. Add flour and milk and beat again so that there are no lumps.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add soft butter to the hardened cream and beat. Grease each cake with cream. Crumble the last cake and decorate the cake with it. Put the cake overnight in the refrigerator.
