Jars for cherries are thoroughly washed and sterilized. Covers are also sterilized.

We wash the cherries, select whole, ripe berries, squeeze out the pits.

We put the cherries in the jars, tightly, slightly pressing.

Cover the jars with lids, put them in a large pan (put a piece of cloth on the bottom of the pan). Carefully pour water into the pan up to the “shoulders” of the jar.

We bring the water to a boil, reduce the heat, the water should boil slightly, but not boil. We sterilize liter jars with cherries for 20 minutes, half-liter jars for 15 minutes. Wrap the finished cherries hermetically with lids, turn them upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket until they cool completely.
