Cherry cake

Do you love to taste sweet cakes, but don’t really like standing by the oven, baking culinary masterpieces? Then, the recipe “Cherry” cake just for you. After all, when cooking it, you will spend a minimum of effort and you do not need to turn on the oven at all. Cook and enjoy.

Cherry cake – ingredients

  • For the sand base:
  • Biscuits – 150 g.
  • Butter – 125 g.
  • For the cheese middle:
  • Cheese – 300 g.
  • Natural yogurt – 150 g.
  • Cream (11%) – 100 g.
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp.
  • Gelatin – 1 pack (10 g).
  • Sugar – 100 g.
  • For the jelly top:
  • Vanillin – 1 bag.
  • Cherry jelly – 1 pack.
  • Fresh/frozen cherries – 150 g.

The recipe for the cake “Cherry”

We are preparing a sand base for “Cherry” cake. Grind the cookies in a blender into fine crumbs. Melt butter and combine with crumbs.

Line the bottom of a removable form (diameter 26 cm) with baking paper, spread the butter crumb, level it and lightly press it with your palms. Put the finished base in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the cheese middle “Cherry” cake. Gelatin should be soaked in cream and allowed to swell. After 20-25 minutes, put the mixture in a water bath and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. But the main thing is not to boil! Leave the mixture to cool.

We continue to prepare the cheese middle. Mix the cheese with yogurt, sugar, lemon juice and vanillin until smooth. Add ready-made gelatin with cream to the cream and mix well.

We take out the base from the refrigerator “Cherry” cake and spread the cream on the cake. Flatten and put in the cold for 2 hours so that the cream hardens.

Now prepare the jelly as indicated on the package and leave for 15 minutes to cool. We take out the mold from the refrigerator, put the halves of cherries on top and pour the jelly.

“Cherry” cake put in the refrigerator until completely solidified.
