Blanch asparagus in salted water for about 4 minutes. After that, immediately wash the stems with cold water.

Carefully beat the chicken fillet so that it is quite thin and soft, but does not fall apart. Salt and pepper the meat.

Mix cream cheese with finely chopped greens and squeezed garlic. Also salt and pepper. Keep in mind that the fillet and cheese mass will be combined, so do not overdo it with salt and pepper.

Coat the pieces of chicken meat with a thin layer of cheese. Place 2-3 stalks of asparagus on one edge of such a “sandwich” and roll up chicken and asparagus rolls. At the same time, asparagus will stick out from both sides.

We tightly wrap the rolls with strips of bacon so that they do not spread. Do not overdo it – the bacon should not tear.

Cut the onion into half rings. Fry it until golden.

Cut the potatoes into strips. Add to the onion. Salt, pepper and mix well. It will be both a “pillow” for cooking chicken and asparagus rolls and a side dish for them.

Place potatoes and onions in an even layer on the bottom of a baking dish with high sides. Put a few pieces of butter on top. Next – chicken rolls with asparagus.

Bake in the oven at a temperature of 170-180 degrees for about 45 minutes. Periodically water the rolls with the juice that will be formed during the baking process.
