Chicken and pork roll

Today we will cook soft, juicy and delicious chicken and pork roll. The ingredients for the roll are well selected and harmoniously complement each other.

Such a roll prepared together with Smakota (Smakotainfo.com) will surprise your guests with its taste, and will become a decoration for the festive table.

Chicken and pork roll – ingredients

  • Minced pork – 500 g.
  • Minced chicken – 500 g.
  • Eggs – 2 pieces.
  • Raw potatoes – 1 piece.
  • Onion – 1 piece.
  • A mixture of ground peppers – 0,5 teaspoon.
  • Seasoning for chicken – 0,5 teaspoon.
  • Oil – 30
  • Mushrooms – 100 g.
  • Bulgarian red pepper – 3-4 pieces (fresh or pickled).
  • Green onion – 1 piece.
  • Salt pepper.
  • Breadcrumbs.

Chicken and pork roll – preparation

For the roll, it is better to prepare the minced meat yourself.

So, we grind the meat into minced meat. Beat each egg separately, take a tablespoon from each and pour one beaten egg (without a tablespoon) into each minced meat.

Add finely grated onion, salt and chicken seasoning to the minced chicken. Mix well and beat the minced meat.

Add finely grated potatoes, salt, and a mixture of peppers to the minced pork. We fight back well.

Bake fresh peppers in the oven, then remove the skin from them and remove the seeds. If you use pickled pepper, remove the skin from it as well.

Pour two tablespoons of beaten egg onto a piece of foil and spread the egg well on the foil. We lay out the minced pork and give it the shape of a rectangle with a wet hand. Put a layer of pepper on top. Place the minced chicken on the pepper, leaving 1,5-2 cm from the edge.

Mushrooms are washed, cleaned, cut into slices and fried in oil, salted and peppered. Mix with finely chopped green onions. Place on top of the minced chicken.

With the help of foil, twist the roll, sprinkle it with breadcrumbs.

Wrap the roll in several layers of foil. Transfer to a baking dish and place in an oven heated to 200 degrees for 1 hour.

Cut the foil from above and bend it, return the roll back to the oven for browning for another 20-30 minutes.

Take the roll out of the oven and let it cool. Remove the cold roll from the foil and cut into slices.
