The batter forms a ruddy, slightly crispy shell for the tender, juicy chicken drumsticks inside.

Chicken beer sticks – ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 2 pieces (about 0,5 kg).
  • Buttermilk – 1 cup.
  • Spices for chicken.
  • Oil.
  • For the batter:
  • Wheat flour – ½ cup.
  • Corn flour – ¼ cup.
  • Egg – 1 piece (large).
  • Light beer – ½ cup.
  • Salt pepper.

Chicken beer sticks – recipe

Cut the fillet into thin strips, cover with oil, leave in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight. Rinse the meat, dry with a towel, sprinkle with your favorite spices for chicken.

Mix flour, egg, beer in a bowl, beat until smooth, add salt and pepper.

Roll the chicken strips well in the dough, fry in well-heated oil on all sides.

Place the chicken sticks on paper towels to remove excess fat.

Serve with your favorite sauce.
