Chocolate roll with cream and jelly

A very original chocolate roll with cream and jelly, which will definitely surprise the guests. And its taste will not leave anyone indifferent, because the delicate biscuit simply melts in the mouth, while the cream and jelly filling is very well combined.

Necessary products for making a chocolate roll with cream and jelly

  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Sugar – 100 g.
  • Flour – 30 g.
  • Cocoa – 20 g.

  • Vanillin – 4 g.
  • Starch – 20 g.
  • Cream 35% (for cream) – 200 ml.
  • Sugar (for cream) – 50 g.
  • Vanillin (for cream) – 4 g.
  • Strawberry jelly (dry) – 2 bags.
  • Agar-agar (dry) – 1 bag.

Preparation of chocolate roll with cream and jelly

1. We make jelly according to the instructions on the package. Add agar-agar. Mix thoroughly.

2. Pour diluted jelly with agar-agar into an empty juice bag. When the jelly in the bag cools down, put it in the refrigerator for the night to completely solidify.

3. We prepare a roll. Separate the whites from the yolks from two eggs.

4. Add two more whole eggs.

5. Beat the eggs with a mixer.

6. Add sugar (50 g), flour, cocoa, starch and vanillin to the eggs.

7. Beat everything to a homogeneous consistency.

8. Separately, beat the whites of 2 eggs and sugar (50 g) until light foam.

9. Carefully add proteins to the main mass.

10. Cover the baking form with parchment paper, pour the dough and level it with a spatula. We put the form in a heated oven and cook at a temperature of 200 degrees for 15 minutes.

11. Transfer the finished roll to a towel, remove the paper. Now it is necessary to roll the roll in a towel, and put a rolling pin inside. We do this because the roll is very delicate and we will not twist it, but simply close it with the filling so that the edges are joined at the joints.

12. Whip cream with sugar.

13. When the night passes, cut the package and get the jelly.

14. Grease the roll with cream, put jelly. We also grease the jelly with cream.

15. Twist the roll and wrap it in parchment paper. We put the roll in the refrigerator for 3 hours.

16. Take the roll out of the refrigerator and cut it.
