Chocolate tart with strawberries – a classic combination of shortbread, chocolate and fresh strawberries. The cooled tart disappears from the table in an instant. Such pastries are prepared very quickly, and they look incredible on the table.

Chocolate tart with strawberries – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Flour – 200 g.
  • Cocoa – 1 tablespoon bitter.
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp.
  • Oil – 120
  • Yolk – from 1 egg.
  • Water – 1 tbsp.
  • For the cream:
  • Milk – 500 ml.
  • Dark chocolate – 130 g.
  • Milk chocolate – 50 g.
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp.
  • Vanilla sugar – 20 g.
  • Yolks – 2 pieces.
  • Starch – 3 tablespoons (with a small bang).
  • Additionally:
  • Strawberries – about 600 g.
  • Dark chocolate – 70 g.

Dough

Mix flour with cocoa, sift, add sugar, mix. Add cubed cold butter, cut with a knife until the butter crumbles.

Add yolk and water to the crumbs, knead the dough.

Grease a tart form (d=28 cm) with oil, spread the dough, and evenly distribute it over the form. We put the form with the dough in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

Prick the cooled dough with a fork, put it in an oven heated to 200 degrees, bake until ready – 15-20 minutes.

Cream

Add starch and egg yolks to 150 ml of milk, mix well until smooth.

We put the rest of the milk on the fire, add sugar and vanilla sugar, bring to a boil. Add chocolate to boiling milk, stir until completely dissolved.

Pour in the previously prepared mixture, cook until thickened. Remove from the heat, spread the hot pudding on the baked cake, level it.

Place the strawberries in the still warm cream, pressing down slightly. Melt the chocolate, put it in a plastic bag, cut off the corner of the bag, decorate the strawberries with chocolate, making waves.

We put the tart in the refrigerator for several hours.
