Chocolate-walnut cake

Chocolate-nut cake a super easy recipe on a sponge chocolate and walnut cake, and one of the cakes has honey in it, so this cake tastes like honey. Try to make such a cake at least once and you will be asked to make it for every holiday.

Chocolate-walnut cake – ingredients

  • For chocolate cakes:
  • Eggs – 3 pieces.
  • Cocoa – 70 g.
  • Flour – 2 cups.
  • Sugar – 2 cups.
  • Kefir – 300 ml.
  • Soda – 1,5 tsp
  • Vinegar – 1 tbsp.
  • For nut-honey cake:
  • Nuts (wax) – 250 g.
  • Sugar – 200 g.
  • Squirrels – 5 pieces.
  • Honey (can be artificial) – 1,5 tbsp.
  • Starch (potato) – 1 tbsp.
  • Flour – 1 tbsp.
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • For the cream:
  • Milk – 0,5 l.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 p.
  • Yolks – 5 pieces.
  • Sugar – 200 g.
  • Starch (corn) – 3 tbsp.
  • Oil – 500
  • Cognac – 2 tbsp.

Chocolate-walnut cake – recipe

Cakes for chocolate-walnut cake

Mix dry ingredients – flour, sugar and cocoa. Beat the eggs with a whisk, add kefir, pour soda and vinegar there, add the dry mixture and mix thoroughly. Let it stand for 15 minutes. Bake three cakes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

For nut-honey cake, beat egg whites with sugar, add chopped nuts and the rest of the ingredients, mix well. Bake two cakes at a temperature of 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Cream for chocolate-nut cake

For the cream, beat the yolks with sugar and starch. Bring the milk to a boil, pour it into the yolk mass and put it on the fire again, stirring constantly so that it does not burn. Cool and beat with butter, add cognac.

For fudge, melt chocolate and add cream, mix. Spread in this order: chocolate cake, cream, nut cake, cream, chocolate cake, cream, nut cake, cream, chocolate cake. Spread fondant on all sides of the cake. You can decorate with banana slices.
