For making mulled wine, red table, dry, sweet and semi-sweet wines of the medium price range are well suited. For example, Merlot, Cabernet, Kahor, Kindzmaraulli, Khvanchkara, etc. It is better to refuse fortified wines, because when they are heated, an unpleasant smell of alcohol appears, which spoils the impression of the drink.
