Cod fillet in white wine sauce, with cherry tomatoes and rosemary

Any kind of fillet is prepared very quickly, but cod fillet is also a very tasty and aromatic meat. Gentle cod fillet in white wine sauce, with cherry tomatoes and rosemary – an excellent main dish for a family lunch or dinner.

Ingredients for cod fillets in white wine sauce with cherry tomatoes and rosemary

  • Cod fillet – 500 g.
  • Cherry tomatoes – 8 pcs.
  • Lemon – 5 g.
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Black pepper, ground – to taste.
  • Salt – to taste.
  • White, dry wine – 120 ml.
  • Garlic – 1 clove.
  • Rosemary – 1 sprig.

Cooking cod fillet in white wine sauce, with cherry tomatoes and rosemary

1. Defrost the fish fillet at room temperature. Cut the fish into small pieces.

2. Salt and pepper the fish to taste. Pour lemon juice over the cod fillet.

3. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half. Peel the garlic and cut into thin pieces.

4. In a pan, with the addition of olive oil, fry the garlic for 1 minute.

5. After 1 minute, put the cherry tomatoes in the pan and fry for another 2 minutes.

6. After 2 minutes, pour in the wine and cook for 5 minutes until the alcohol evaporates.

7. In another pan, with the addition of olive oil, fry the fish for 3 minutes on each side.

8. Add cherry tomato sauce to the fried fish.

9. We also put a sprig of rosemary.

10. Cook for another 2 minutes and turn off the stove. Cod fillet in white wine sauce with cherry tomatoes and rosemary is ready.
