Colored cheese curd

Tasty and original in appearance colored cheesecake. In fact, the loud name hides an ordinary, very easy-to-prepare cheesecake with a two-color dough. Even a novice housewife can handle such baking. Such a cheesecake looks very nice in a cut and will be a decoration of any table.

Colored cottage cheese – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Flour – 500 g.
  • Oil – 250
  • Vanilla sugar – 15 g.
  • Powdered sugar – 200 g.
  • Yolks – 8 pieces.
  • Baking powder – 2 tsp.
  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp.
  • Cocoa – 3 tsp.
  • For the cheese mass:
  • Ground cheese – 1 kg.
  • Powdered sugar – 200 g.
  • Starch – 2 tbsp.
  • Vanilla pudding – 1 package.
  • Sour cream – 1 cup.
  • Squirrels – 8 pieces.
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.

Colored cottage cheese – preparation

Dough

We mix flour, vanilla sugar, powdered sugar and baking powder, add hard butter cut into small cubes, chop with a knife to small crumbs. Add yolks and sour cream to the crumbs, knead the dough.

Divide the dough into three equal parts, add cocoa to one, mix. Wrap all three parts of the dough in cling film and put in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.

Curd mass

Add powdered sugar, starch, baking powder, pudding and sour cream to the ground cheese, mix well.

Beat the egg whites to a firm foam, carefully mix them into the cheese mass.

Form the cheesecake

Take out one part of the light dough from the refrigerator. We line the form (25×35) with parchment, rub the dough on a coarse grater. Spread half of the cheese mass, rub the dough with cocoa, cover with the rest of the cheese, rub the last ball of dough.

We bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for 60 minutes, let it cool completely, put it in the refrigerator for a few hours, and only then take it out of the form and cut it.
