Crispy oatmeal with yogurt, peaches and apricots

Do you like sweet breakfasts? And what if we offer a gentle version of oatmeal that is adored by both children and adults? Such a dish will not burden you with its extremely complex recipe, but at the same time it will saturate the body with vitamins for the whole day!

The beneficial properties of oatmeal for the human body have been proven for a long time – firstly, it is the best source of fiber and complex carbohydrates. Secondly, it contains all the most important components for health (magnesium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, iodine, zinc). And thirdly, oats are an excellent antioxidant.

Few people know that oatmeal is rich in such a useful substance as biotin, which effectively fights dermatitis and other skin irritations, bringing it back to normal, especially in winter. Despite its calorie content (100 grams of oatmeal contains 345 kcal), it is actively recommended to those who are trying to lose extra pounds, and it is also believed to be a natural antidepressant, improves mood and removes stress.

Crispy oatmeal with yogurt, peaches and apricots – ingredients

  • Hercules – 1 glass.
  • Canned peaches – 3 pcs.
  • Canned apricots – 4 pcs.
  • Hazelnuts – 1 handful.
  • Butter – 50 g.
  • Yogurt – 1 cup.
  • Sugar sand – 1 tsp.
  • Vanilla extract – ½ tsp.

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
  2. Grind the hazelnuts in a mortar so that small pieces remain.
  3. Cut the peaches into cubes and put them in a heatproof dish.
  4. Cut the apricots in half and send them to the peaches.
  5. Sprinkle the fruit with Hercules, pour a little juice left over from the peaches, and sprinkle with crushed nuts. Put the form in a heated oven.
  6. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  7. Take the oatmeal out of the oven, pour oil over it, sprinkle with sugar and send it to the oven for another 10 minutes to get a caramel crust.
  8. Pour vanilla extract into the yogurt, mix and pour over the finished oatmeal.
  9. You can decorate the dish with coconut shavings.

What supplements can replace peaches or apricots?

Here you can safely experiment even with berries! Blackberries, strawberries, currants, raspberries – all this is great for such a breakfast.

You can also try adding a ripe banana or grated apple and pear. We advise those with a sweet tooth to try porridge with honey, nuts (walnuts, pistachios, peanuts) and raisins.
