Crostata with jam
Crostata with jam belongs to dishes of minimum complexity. Any jam to your taste is used for the filling. Cooking crostata with jam will not take too much time. It is important to make the right basis, and the rest is a matter of taste.
Crostata with jam – preparation
- Flour – 250 g.
- Yolks – 2 pieces.
- Sugar – 50 g.
- Oil – 150
- Lemon peel –
- Lemon juice – 2 tbsp. l.
- Jam (any kind) – 400 g.
Crostata with jam – recipe
Beat egg yolks with sugar and a pinch of salt. Beat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add finely grated lemon peel and flour to the resulting mass. Divide the dough into 2 parts and leave for 30 minutes. in the fridge
Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll out one part to a thickness of 0,5 cm. Put the dough on a greased baking dish. Add 2 tbsp. to the jam. of lemon juice, pour it over the dough to 2/3 of the height of the mold. If the filling is given more, it will leak during baking. Spread the remaining dough, cut into strips, on top of the jam.
Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees. When the cake cools, it can be decorated with powdered sugar, mint or fresh berries or fruits.
