Cucumber season is in full swing, so now is the time for cucumber salad “Fingers”.

Cucumber salad “Fingers” it turns out very tasty and piquant. Such cucumbers can be wrapped in jars for the winter, and you can prepare a bright fresh snack for the dinner table, skipping the cooking and preservation process.

Cucumber salad “Fingers” perfectly stored in the conditions of the apartment, at room temperature.

The recipe uses a glass with a capacity of 250 ml.

From the given amount of ingredients, 4 cans of 0,5 l of salad are obtained.

Cucumber salad “Fingers” – ingredients

  • Cucumbers – 2 kg.
  • Sugar – ½ cup.
  • Vinegar – ½ cup.
  • Oil – ½ cup.
  • Salt – 2 tbsp.
  • Ground black pepper – 1 tbsp.
  • Garlic – 1 head.
  • Parsley – to taste.

Cucumber salad “Fingers” – cooking recipe

Cut the cucumbers into four lengthwise and crosswise, and then in half again. If the cucumbers are small, it is enough to cut them in half lengthwise.

Put the cucumbers in a saucepan, add pepper, salt and sugar, mix well.

Add oil, vinegar, chopped garlic and finely chopped parsley (you can do without it), mix well, leave for 4 hours.

We put the cucumbers on the stove, cook for 7 minutes from the beginning of boiling, reduce the heat to a minimum, quickly put the cucumbers in sterilized jars, tightly screw on sterilized lids.

***WARNING! Cucumbers should be boiled for no more than 11 minutes, so you need to twist them quite quickly.

Turn the jars upside down, cover with a warm blanket, leave to cool.
