Currant jelly a very tasty and delicate dessert, which is prepared with the addition of only one sugar without any additives. And you can taste such a dessert immediately and even on a cold winter evening.

Necessary products for making jelly from currants

  • Currants – 1 kg 200 g.
  • Sugar – 600 g.

Preparation of currant jelly

1. Clean the currants from the tails and wash them thoroughly.

2. Wipe the prepared currants through a sieve twice.

3. Put the pan on the stove and bring the mixture to a boil. Remove the foam.

4. Sprinkle with sugar and cook, stirring constantly, for 20-25 minutes. Pour hot jelly into sterilized jars and cover with lids.

5. Currant jelly is ready. Bon appetit!
