Necessary products for preparing Czech garlic soup

  • Pork – 400 g.
  • Potatoes – 3-5 pcs.
  • Water – 1,5 l.
  • Onions – 1 pcs.
  • Garlic – 3 cloves.
  • Eggs – 1 pcs.
  • Salt, black pepper – to taste.
  • Bay leaf – 1 pcs.
  • White bread – 1-2 pieces.
  • Oil – for frying.
  • Dill, parsley – 1 sprig each.

Preparation of Czech garlic soup

1. Thoroughly wash the pork and put it in a pan. Pour water and put on the stove.

2. Boil the meat until boiling, remove the foam. We put a bay leaf. Next, cook the meat over moderate heat until done (30-40 minutes).

3. Peel the potatoes and onions. Cut the potatoes into small plates. Cut the onion into small cubes. Peel the garlic and grind it with a garlic press.

4. We prepare croutons. Cut the bread into small pieces and fry for 4-5 minutes in a dry pan.

5. Put the potatoes in a separate pan. Pour the strained meat broth over the potatoes. Cut the pork into small pieces and add to the potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the potatoes are ready (soft).

6. Fry onion and garlic in a pan with oil for 2-3 minutes. Beat the egg lightly.

7. When the potatoes are ready, add fried onions and garlic.

8. And also pour in the egg and mix quickly.

9. Add finely chopped greens to the finished soup. We serve Czech soup with cooked crackers.
