The disappearing triangles are the ingredients

  • Flour – 100 g.

  • . . . . . . . . .
  • Cheese (Parmesan, Gold cheese) – 100 g.
  • Salt – ΒΌ tsp.
  • Egg – 1 pcs.

Triangles that disappear – cooking

Pour sifted flour, butter, and salt onto the work table and begin to turn all this into groats with the help of hands and a knife. When the process comes to an end, add the grated cheese and continue chopping. Then transfer this mass into a container and add 1 yolk.

Form a ball from this mass. You should get a crumbly mass, but it turns into a ball very easily. Wrap the ball in cling film and put it in the fridge for 20 minutes.

We take baking parchment on which our triangles will be baked, grease with melted butter and cool. A film of cold butter will appear on the parchment.

Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll out each of the parts into a square of 20×20 cm. The square should be cut into 16 squares of 5×5, each square should be cut diagonally.

Next, beat the egg white and cover all the triangles with it. Sprinkle on top with what is at hand (poppy, fried onions, sweet paprika, nuts, sesame, fennel, rosemary, celery seeds).

We repeat the same actions with the second part of the dough.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Using a knife, place the triangles on the parchment and bake for 10 minutes.

They taste very well with beer, but also with chilled dry wine – simply unsurpassed.
