Donuts with garlic

Dumplings with garlic are an indispensable addition to Ukrainian borscht. Fragrant, fluffy, tasty, easy to prepare. Served while still warm.

Dumplings with garlic – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • dry yeast – 11 g.
  • flour – 500 g.
  • oil – 2 tbsp.
  • salt – 1 tsp.
  • egg – 1 piece.
  • water or milk – 1 cup.

Mix flour with yeast, add oil and salt. Add warm water or warm milk to the mixture. Knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands. Make balls from the dough, leave in a warm place for 1 hour. to fit Divide the dough into portions of 40 g each and make balls from them. Place the balls tightly in a baking dish or pan and let rise for 30 minutes in a warm place. Brush the donuts with a beaten egg. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at a temperature of 250 degrees.

While everything is baking, prepare the sauce. Grind the garlic, add oil, water, salt, mix thoroughly. The sauce should be thick like sour cream. You can add fresh herbs to the sauce to taste.

Lubricate the finished baked donuts with garlic sauce. Serve while still warm.
