Dough for lasagna

To prepare lasagna, you need special sheets of dough. Dough for lasagna you can buy it in a store, or you can cook it yourself at home.

If you decide to cook lasagna dough yourself, then prepare it together with Smakota (SmakotaInfo.com). To prepare such a dough, you will need a simple list of products: flour, eggs, salt and oil.

Dough for lasagna – ingredients

  • Flour – 400 g.
  • Eggs (large) – 2 pieces.
  • Cold water – 40 ml.
  • Salt – 1 tsp.
  • Sunflower oil – 1 tbsp.

Dough for lasagna – cooking recipe

We sift the flour. Make a “well” in the slide of flour formed after sifting. We beat the eggs there, pour water, add oil and salt. We knead the dough. We knead the dough for a long time – 5-10 minutes. If the dough is very hard, add a little water. We knead until it becomes homogeneous and stops lagging behind the hands.

Cover the dough with cling film and let it rest for 20-30 minutes.

Our lasagna dough is ready. Cut the dough into 6 parts. We roll out each of the parts to a thickness of 1,5-2 mm. With a knife, we cut out the layers of the size we need. We do this with all parts of the dough.

Lasagna sheets can be used immediately, dried or frozen.

Before use, it is advisable to boil the finished dough in salted water for 2 minutes.
