A family holiday is approaching, and you are at a loss as to what to surprise your relatives with? Meat dishes are always relevant, because here you can experiment with the recipe and add unique flavor highlights. Cranberry jam can be replaced with cherry jam.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Wash the duck carcass and dry it with a paper towel.

Grind pepper, coriander and salt in a mortar. Rub the inside and outside of the duck with this mixture.

After removing the core, cut the apples into large pieces. Fill the duck carcass with a part of the sliced ​​apples, place it in a stewing container, cover with the remaining apple slices and pour enough beer so that the duck is almost completely covered.

Stew the duck for an hour and a half under the lid, then turn it over and bake for another 30-40 minutes without the lid. Remove the apples from the duck – they are inedible. Cut the duck into pieces.

Serve with lingonberry or cherry jam.

  1. Baked vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, bell pepper).
  2. Rice with grated carrots.
  3. Potatoes with thyme.
