If you want to try making donuts, but are worried that it won’t work, we assure you that this recipe is the easiest and will definitely please the whole family!

Dumplings with apricots

  • Ripe apricots – 500 g.
  • Flour – 250 g.
  • Fine sugar or powdered sugar – 150 g.
  • Milk – 125 ml.
  • Eggs – 1 pcs.
  • Butter – 1 tsp.
  • Dry yeast – 1 tsp.
  • Olive oil – 0,5 l.
  • Sea salt – 1 pinch.

Dumplings with apricots – recipe

Pour milk into a small saucepan, add butter and heat over low heat until the butter melts. Beat the egg with 50 g of sugar and a pinch of salt.

Add yeast and warm milk with butter. While continuing to beat, introduce the sifted flour, and then knead the dough with your hands.

Put the dough in a dish greased with oil, cover it with a film and put it in a warm place for an hour. Wash apricots, remove pits and cut into small cubes.

Roll out the dough and cut round molds from it using a small cup. Stretch each circle of dough a little, put a teaspoon of apricots in the center, sprinkle with a pinch of sugar and mold them into donuts, carefully pinching the edge.

Heat the oil in a deep pan or pot and fry the donuts until golden. Sprinkle the donuts with fine sugar. Serve warm.
