Dumplings with mushrooms tasty, aromatic, juicy. You can prepare them for the Holy Supper, during fasting and just for any holiday or on an ordinary day. Everyone who likes cabbage rolls will enjoy them. It is very easy to prepare. Cooking does not take much time.

Recommended for preparing songs cabbage rolls with mushrooms use forest ones, then the filling will be more aromatic. These can be russets, mushrooms, mushrooms, podosichniki. If there are no such mushrooms, then you can buy porcini mushrooms.

You can also serve cabbage rolls with any sauce, or pour over the tomato in which they were cooked. Decorate with greens.

Ingredients for making cabbage rolls with mushrooms

  • cabbage leaves – 10 pcs.
  • mushrooms – 300 g.
  • rice – 5 tbsp.
  • onion – 2 pcs.
  • carrots – 2 pcs.
  • tomato paste – 2 tbsp.
  • sour cream – 50 g.
  • bay leaf – 2 pcs.
  • peppercorns – 6 pcs.
  • salt – to taste.
  • sugar – to taste.
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • greens – to taste.
  • black pepper, ground – to taste.

Cooking cabbage rolls with mushrooms

Wash the mushrooms well, clean and wash again. Cut into pieces and boil. Then fry in oil together with onions.

For cabbage rolls, boil rice separately, it should be cooked until half cooked. We disassemble the cabbage into leaves, cut off the dense thickenings on the veins, scald in boiling water so that they become soft.

We are preparing the stuffing for cabbage rolls. Fry onions and carrots. Dilute tomato paste with water, add sour cream. Salt, pepper and add sugar to taste. Mix everything together and boil a little (5 min.).

Mix rice, fried onions with mushrooms, egg. Salt, add spices (dry or fresh dill, parsley, thyme, basil) to taste. This will be the filling for cabbage rolls.

We take a cabbage leaf and put 2-3 tbsp. fillings, wrap with an envelope. Dumplings with mushrooms put in a container, fill with tomato filling so that they are covered with it. Put on the stove and simmer on medium heat for 30-40 minutes. until ready.
