So, we start preparing dumplings with strawberries.

Let’s prepare the dough. Pour melted and cooled butter into a large bowl, pour cold water, add a pinch of salt, add flour a little at a time and mix. The dough should be slightly sticky. We roll it into a ball, wrap it in cling film, and leave it for 30-40 minutes.

We wash fresh strawberries under running water, dry them on a paper towel, and cut them into smaller pieces.

Take the dough out of the refrigerator, divide it into 3 parts. We put two under a wet towel.

Lightly sprinkle the work surface with flour, lay out a ball of dough, sprinkle it with flour on top and roll out a thin, large “pancake”. Use a glass (diameter no larger than 7-8 cm) to cut circles from the dough.

Put a full teaspoon of strawberries in the middle of the circle, and seal the edges.

Place the strawberry dumplings on a floured surface.

Immerse the finished dumplings in boiling water, the water should not boil strongly. In about a minute, the dumplings will float to the surface, cook for another 3-4 minutes, remove with a slotted spoon.

We work similarly with the rest of the dough.

Put the dumplings in a bowl with melted butter mixed with powdered sugar.
