Fat in a bag

Smakota (Smakotainfo.com) shares a boiled recipe with you lard in a bag. The secret of cooking this dish is the right choice of lard for further marinating and cooking, it is best to take brisket. Fat can be cooked both in a pot of water and in a steamer.

  1. Cut the pork belly into pieces.
  2. Chop the garlic with a knife or through a garlic press.
  3. Rub lard with salt, seasoning, pepper and garlic. Leave to infuse for about an hour.
  4. Take cellophane bags, insert one bag into another and put the brisket in them. Remove the air from the bags and tie them.
  5. Put the packets of lard in a pan with cold water, cover the pan with a lid, and put it on the fire. When the water boils, reduce the heat so that the water does not boil strongly.
  6. Cook over low heat for 2 hours.
  7. Turn off the heat and leave the lard to cool in the water in which it was cooked. When it cools down, remove the brisket from the bags, wrap it in foil and put it in the refrigerator overnight so that it cools down well.
