Filling for pies

We bring to your attention a selection of delicious fillings for pies. Every housewife has her own signature recipe for making pies, sometimes you want something new, original. Delight your family and friends with pies.

After cooking, each filling should be placed so that it cools down to room temperature. When forming pies, try to make them all more or less the same shape. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, greasing it with oil or any other fat.

Meat filling

Ingredients for preparing meat filling:

  • meat – 200-300g.
  • liver – 100 g.
  • fat – 1 tbsp.
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • white bun – 100g.
  • onion – 2 pcs.
  • carrots – 1 pcs.
  • parsley – 1 pc.
  • salt, pepper – to taste.

Preparation of meat filling for pies

Pour water into a small container and boil the meat and liver with onions, carrots and parsley. We soak the bun in the broth in which the meat and liver were cooked. We squeeze the bun and grind it in a meat grinder. Boiled meat and liver, vegetables are also ground in a meat grinder. Add fat, egg. Mix everything well. Salt and pepper to taste. We mix. The filling is ready.

Pork filling

Ingredients for making pork filling:

  • pork (fried or boiled) – 250 g.
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • fat – 30 g.
  • onion – 2 pcs.
  • carrots – 1 pcs.
  • parsley – 1 pc.
  • potatoes (boiled) – 1 pc.
  • salt, pepper – to taste.

Preparation of pork filling

Boil the meat with carrots, onions, and parsley in a small amount of water. Fry the onion. Grind everything in a meat grinder. Add egg, salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything well. Minced meat is ready.

Liver filling

Ingredients for preparing liver filling

  • liver – 300 g.
  • fat – 1 tbsp.
  • onion – 1/2 pc.
  • eggs – 2 pcs.
  • salt, pepper – to taste.

Preparation of liver filling

Hard boil the eggs. Cut the onion and fry it. We soak the liver in milk and fry it in oil. All ingredients can be chopped or ground in a meat grinder. The filling is ready.

Fresh mushroom filling

Ingredients for making stuffing from fresh mushrooms

  • mushrooms – 500 g.
  • onion – 1 pcs.
  • fat – 1 tbsp.
  • sour cream – 2 tablespoons
  • bay leaf – 1 pcs.
  • salt, pepper – to taste.

Preparation of filling from fresh mushrooms

Wash and clean the mushrooms. Boil until tender in salted water. Chop and stew until done with fried onions and bay leaves. Towards the end, sprinkle with flour, pour sour cream, pepper, salt and simmer for a while. The filling should be thick. You can add a little ground boiled meat and hard-boiled eggs to the filling. The filling is ready.

Potato filling

Ingredients for making potato filling

  • potatoes – 1/2 kg.
  • fat – 100 g.
  • onion – 2 pcs.
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • salt, pepper – to taste.

Preparation of potato filling

Wash, peel and boil potatoes in salted water. Pass boiled potatoes through a meat grinder. Peel and cut the onion. Fry with fat until golden. Grind, add to potatoes. Mix everything, add egg, salt, pepper and mix well so that there are no lumps. Boiled, ground meat or boiled ground mushrooms can be added to this filling. The filling is ready.

Cabbage filling

Ingredients for making cabbage filling:

  • fresh cabbage – 1 kg.
  • onion – 2-3 pcs.
  • eggs – 2 pcs.
  • fat – 50 g.
  • salt, pepper – to taste.
  • dried mushrooms – 1-2 pcs.

Preparation of cabbage filling:

Cut fresh cabbage into parts, put in boiling water and boil. We take it out, put it to cool. We squeeze out the water and pass it through a meat grinder or chop it. Fry the onion in fat. Add cabbage and stew. Hard-boil the eggs and cut into cabbage. Grate dry mushrooms and add to cabbage. Salt, pepper to taste and stew until done. The filling is ready.

Cheese filling

Ingredients for making cheese filling:

  • cheese – 300 g.
  • sugar – 100 g.
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • boiled potatoes – 2 pcs.
  • raisins – 100 g.
  • cinnamon – 1/2 tsp.

Preparation of cheese filling

Pass the cheese and boiled potatoes through a meat grinder, add an egg, sugar, cinnamon, and washed raisins. Mix everything well. The filling is ready.
