Fish baked on a vegetable pillow

Fish is very useful for every person, and if you cook it on a pillow of carrots, onions and beets, you will get a very aromatic and tasty dish. Fish baked on a vegetable pillow will be enjoyed not only by adults, but also by children.

Necessary products for cooking fish baked on a vegetable pillow

  • Fish, white carp – 800-900 g.
  • Carrot – 1 pc.
  • Beet – 1 pc.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Rosemary – 0,5 tsp. (Optional).
  • Salt, black pepper – to taste.
  • Oil – 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking fish baked on a vegetable pillow

1. If you have a whole, fresh fish, then we clean it from the scales. We remove the gills and entrails. Cut off the head and tail. Cut the white carp carcass into two halves. Salt, pepper and add rosemary to taste.

2. Peel the carrots and beets and cut them into medium circles. Peel the onion and cut it in the same way as the vegetables.

3. Grease a heat-resistant form with oil and lay out the vegetables. Salt to taste.

4. Put the fish on top of the vegetables.

5. Grease the fish with oil and put it in the oven. We cook the dish for 40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
