Fish cake

As you know, many different dishes can be prepared from fish, and even a fish cake. For example, with carrots and prunes. It is original, festively beautiful and delicious! Such a cake will, of course, not be served as a dessert, but as an appetizer. Try it!

Cut the fish fillet into small cubes, salt, sprinkle with lemon juice, and sprinkle with chopped dill. Leave to marinate.

While the fish is marinating, prepare the dough. To do this, separate the yolks from the whites, put the whites in the refrigerator. Beat the yolks slightly, add softened butter, sifted flour, and cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Finely chop the green onion, add to the dough, mix well.

Beat the whites until soft foam. Grate half of the hard cheese on a coarse grater. Add proteins and grated cheese to the fish, mix.

Grease the cake mold well with oil, fill it with dough. Carefully spread the fish mass on top of the dough. Cut the rest of the cheese into thin slices. Spread it evenly on the fish mass.

We bake our cake in an oven heated to 200 degrees for 35 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the cake for another 10-15 minutes. Remove from the oven. Transfer to a cake plate.

Served to guests! Very tasty and fragrant!
