Gentle coffee grounds

Gentle and light like fluff – coffee grounds. Such a cake is prepared very quickly and easily – we bake a biscuit and whip cream – this, in fact, is the basis of our cake. Cook and enjoy the incredible creamy coffee taste.

Gentle coffee ground – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Eggs – 2 pieces.
  • Sugar – 5 tbsp.
  • Flour – 2 tbsp.
  • Starch – 2 tbsp.
  • Cocoa – 1 tablespoon
  • Baking powder – ½ tbsp.
  • For seepage:
  • Coffee – 1 tsp.
  • Water – 3 tbsp.
  • For coffee mass:
  • Cream (from 30%) – 250 ml.
  • Gelatin – 2 tsp.
  • Instant coffee – 2 tbsp.
  • Powdered sugar – 1 tbsp.
  • For the cream mass
  • Cream (from 30%) – 250 ml.
  • Powdered sugar – 2 tbsp.
  • Gelatin – 2 tsp.
  • Additionally:
  • Black chocolate.

Gentle coffee grounds – preparation

Sponge cake

Beat the eggs to a fluffy light mass, add sugar one spoon at a time, beat well. Mix the flour with starch, cocoa and baking powder, add to the egg mass, mix gently with a wooden spoon.

Cover the form (20×20) with parchment, pour the dough. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

We are cooling. Soak with strong coffee.

Dissolve gelatin and coffee in 2 tbsp. of hot water, leave to cool.

Beat the well-chilled cream with powdered sugar to a thick lush cream. Without stopping to beat, pour the coffee with gelatin into the cream in a thin trickle.

Immediately spread the mass on the soaked cake, level it. We put it in the refrigerator.

Cream mass

Dissolve gelatin in 2 tbsp. hot water Leave to cool.

Beat the well-chilled cream with powdered sugar to a thick lush cream, pour in the chilled gelatin in a thin stream, whisking constantly. We spread the mass on the coffee layer.

Grate the chocolate on a fine grater, sprinkle on top of the cake.

Put the dough in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Cut with a knife dipped in boiling water.
