Hake fillet under a vegetable blanket with feta in the oven – recipe
First, we defrost the fish. Cut it into smaller pieces (one fish can be cut into 2 or 3 pieces) and marinate in ketchup or adjika. No additional soda or pepper is needed. We leave it for a while while we prepare the vegetable filling.
Wash the vegetables, finely dice the onion, and grate the carrots on a medium or large grater.
In a frying pan with oil, first fry the onion until golden, then add the carrots and stew together until ready. A little pepper and salt to taste. But don’t forget, feta cheese itself is quite salty, and hake fillet is very tender and does not like excess salt.
Then we put the hake fillet in a mold (we had a 30×20 glass one), put stewed vegetables on top of the fish and put feta cheese in small cubes or arbitrary pieces.
Cover with a lid or cover with foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes. at a temperature of 180 degrees.
The finished dish is served with any side dish or salad.
