Herring in sour cream – ingredients

  • Herring (fillet) – 500 g.
  • Apples – 400 g.
  • Onion – 300 g.
  • Sour cream (20%) – 300 ml.
  • Chopped dill – a handful.
  • Chopped green onions – a handful.
  • Salt pepper.

Herring in sour cream – recipe

Dry the fillet with a paper towel, cut into strips.

Cut the onion into thin quarter rings. Pour boiling water, put on a colander, leave to cool. Transfer to a salad bowl.

Peel the apples, cut them into small cubes, add them to the cooled onions. Add sour cream and herring. Mix carefully. Set aside for 10 minutes, taste. Salt and pepper to taste.
