Homemade chestnuts (without baking) – ingredients

  • Butter cookies (for example, “For coffee”) – 200 g.
  • Butter – 120 g.
  • Powdered sugar – ½ cup.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Natural honey (liquid) – 3 tbsp.
  • Cocoa – 3 tablespoon
  • Strong alcohol – 50 ml (can be replaced with orange juice).
  • Ground nuts (any) – 50 g.

Homemade chestnuts (without baking) – cooking recipe

Grind the cookies in a meat grinder.

Beat the butter with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar, add honey, beat well until the components are combined. Sieve cocoa, beat well again, add alcohol (or juice), beat.

Add nuts and cookies to the butter mass (reserve 3 tablespoons for browning the chestnuts), mix well.

If the “dough” turns out to be dry, add more alcohol (or juice) or more honey.

We form balls the size of a walnut, put a raisin in the middle. We roll the balls in ground cookies.

Put the finished chestnuts in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
