Homemade fish sticks – a good addition to any side dish. The crispy crust and tender fish center are ideal for an evening salad or a hearty lunch.

Homemade fish sticks – ingredients

  • Fish fillet (white) – 4 large pieces.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves.
  • Onion – 1 piece.
  • Eggs – 1+2 pieces.
  • Salt, pepper, favorite spices.
  • Bun (teahouse type) – 1 piece.
  • Breadcrumbs.
  • Flour

Homemade fish sticks – cooking recipe

Defrost the fillet, dry it, and cut it into pieces.

We soak the bun and squeeze it.

Cut the onion into half rings, fry.

Grind onion, garlic, fillet and bun in a meat grinder.

Add egg, salt, pepper, seasonings, mix the minced meat well.

Beat 2 eggs in a bowl, lightly salt and pepper. Cook breadcrumbs and flour on separate plates.

We form rectangular sticks 2×5 cm from the minced meat. Lightly dip them in flour, egg and breadcrumbs. Fry in a large amount of heated oil on both sides (about 4 minutes on each side.
