Homemade mayonnaise recipe

  • egg yolks – 2 pcs.
  • refined sunflower oil – 0,5 cups.
  • refined olive oil – 0,5 cups.
  • dry mustard – 1 tsp.
  • powdered sugar – 1 tsp.
  • lemon juice – from 1 lemon (or to taste).
  • salt.
  • ground black pepper.

Take egg yolks, oil, powdered sugar, lemon juice (can be replaced with grape, apple, wine or balsamic vinegar), salt, pepper and beat with a mixer or blender until the mass begins to thicken and turn white.

If you are whipping with a blender, lower the nozzle to the very bottom of the vessel so that the mayonnaise is whipped faster. Now add mustard. Useful homemade mayonnaise is ready.
