Honey cake with apple cream it’s not exactly a traditional honey cake, but it’s very tasty, with thin honey cakes combined with apple cream.

  • For cakes:
  • Flour – 500 g.
  • Eggs – 2 pieces.
  • Sugar – 200 g.
  • Oil – 80
  • Honey – 115 g.
  • Soda – 2 tsp
  • For the cream:
  • Apples – 500 g.
  • Milk – 500
  • Sugar – 100 g.
  • Eggs – 4 pieces.
  • Potato starch – 4 tbsp. l.

Form with a diameter of 26, a height of 6.5.

Beat the eggs lightly with sugar, add honey, soft butter and soda. Mix everything and put in a water bath. Heat, stirring constantly, to a dark golden color. The mass should double in size, remove from the stove and add flour.

Knead the dough and let it come to room temperature. Roll out the cakes to about 4-5 mm. Transfer to a form lined with parchment paper. Bake at a temperature of 200 degrees for 4-6 minutes.

Cool the cream and grease the cakes.
