Honey for every day – ingredients

  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Sugar – 1 cup.
  • Oil – 0.5 cups.
  • Honey – 1 cup.
  • Tea/coffee – 0.5 cups.
  • Soda – 0.5 tsp
  • Cinnamon – 0.5 tsp.
  • Ground cloves – 0.5 tsp.
  • Flour – as much as it takes to the consistency of thick sour cream.

Brew tea or coffee in advance and cool it.

Beat the eggs with sugar until thick.

Next, add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Sieve the flour through a sieve in small portions and mix lightly.

The consistency of the dough should resemble thick sour cream.

Then pour the dough onto a parchment-lined form (~ 10*20 cm). You need two such forms for baking.

Bake for 45 minutes. at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Readiness is checked with a toothpick: if, by inserting a toothpick into the browned dough, it is dry, the honeydew is ready.

We take the honey pot out of the oven, cool it and serve it to the table with coffee and tea. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
