Hot marinated cabbage rolls with vegetables

Smakota (Smakotainfo.com) offers to prepare a delicious snack today for the weekend – hot marinated cabbage rolls with vegetables. This dish goes well with kebabs, baked meat and fish.

Recipe for cooking hot marinated cabbage rolls with vegetables

  • cabbage – 2 kg.
  • onion – 150 g.
  • carrots – 180 g.
  • celery root – 250-300 g.
  • chili – 1 small pod.

Peel onions, celery and carrots. Cut off the upper half of the cabbage leaves without reaching the hard veins and blanch in hot water. Finely chop the remaining cabbage, finely chop the onion, grate the celery and carrot on a coarse grater.

Chop the chili pod (with or without seeds) very finely. Mix the prepared vegetables and stuff the blanched cabbage leaves with them, forming small cabbage rolls.

Put them tightly in a pan and pour hot marinade from 1 liter of water, sugar, salt and vinegar, put a load on top and keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

Crispy, spicy cabbage rolls are ready to eat.
