  • Zira – ½ tsp.
  • Thyme – ½ tsp.
  • Salt.
  • Black pepper with peas – 5 pieces.
  • Basil – ½ tsp.
  • Marjoram – ½ tsp.
  • Rosemary – ½ tsp.
  • Allspice – 5 pieces.
  • Carrot – 1-2 pieces.
  • Onion – 1-2 pieces.
  • Sugar – 4 tsp.
  • Garlic – 4 cloves.
  • Light beer – 500 ml.
  • Ruler – 1 piece.

How to bake a shank – a cooking recipe

Put the shank in a pot, pour water, salt it well, add cumin, thyme, pepper, basil, marjoram, rosemary, allspice, carrot and onion.

We boil the shank for 1,5-2 hours.

Add sugar to the beer and squeeze the garlic.

We remove the knuckle from the broth, put it in a heat-resistant form. Bake in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 1,5 hours. After every 15 minutes, pour the sauce over the shank.

Serve the finished shank with your favorite vegetables or vegetable salad.
